Last month we were invited to have 2D1N media trip staycation by Hilton Hotel Bandung. When first received that invitation, we were so HAPPY (hello! You must be very happy if received that kind of invitation!).

Anyway we almostttt reject it because tons of deadline we had on the office! Had i mention that we have a garment, which almost every garment going crazily busy and full off order during ramadhan month! But Thanks God everything going as plan, so we can have that small gateway to enjoy 2 days off from office.

There you go....

We arrived at Hilton Bandung around 11am, and met our several bandung foodieS there.

We headed to Purnawarman restaurant to have our welcome drink, which named DREAM GREEN.
It was a healthy juice consisting of some veggies mixed with pinapple and lemon juice. Healthy yet so fresh!

What could be better than sitting by the pool with calm and beautiful scenery while enjoy your tasty and nice dishes. Yup Fresco restaurant has all of it, located on the 6th floor, the restaurant has an open air area which make us can clearly feel the fresh Bandung breeze all the time during our lunch there.

Anyway, mrs.bfoodie has a small photo shoot here. She cant stand posing to get this beautiful scenery as her background.

As an opening dishes we had INDONESIAN PIZZA 135K consisting of indonesian specialties. we tried their BEEF RENDANG PIZZA and CHICKEN BETUTU PIZZA, it taste so unique (in a good way) even some of my friend told that the pizza will going well eaten with rice haha..

After having our pizza appetizer, we were given a couple of choice for main course. Ok lets jump to the main course we picked.

Lets begin with mrs.bfoodie choices, n.y striploin. It was a 200g beef steak which come from the back of the beef from about the middle of the back until close to the leg, it is the second most tender part of the beef and known for its tenderness. The striploin was HUGE and as ecxpected so tender and moist and well seasoned!

While mr.bfoodie choose homemade pappardelle for his lunch because it is one of fresco signature dish. It was roasted chicken duxelle mushroon with parmesan shaved, fresh bassil, and mushroom ragout with emultion. Chicken meat was tender, the pappardelle itself is like wide fettucine and has perfect creaminess.

Well, there is always a room for dessert!! 
Te tiramisu fit mrs.bfoodie tastebud who doesnt like a supersweet dessert, it as softcream mascarpone sabayon with coffee liqueur sponge. 

As a cheese lover, mr.bfoodie couldnt say no to any cheese dessert, it was warm crispy fried cheese cake served with banana foster flambe and vanilla ice cream, so good esp that banana sauce!

Fresco Restaurant Opening Hours
Sunday-Thursday = 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Friday-Saturday = 5:00 pm – 12:00 am

Both of us are fully loaded now, its time to have a rest... because we were given executive room so we can check in at their EXECUTIVE LOUNGE on 11th floor.

Well, because the two of us has been married, we were given a king executive room which is super duper spacious and having a great view facing the swimming pool! Actually its kind of a throwback to our first night as married couple (we also sleep here after the wedding ceremony with the same room type, the same view) excited much?! YAP!! ;).

In my humble opinion, because the room is really spacious i think it perfect for a small family, it could hold up to 4 person at once (2 adult + 2 kids) while you still have so many spaces left!

After having a good rest, we went to purnawarman restaurant to have our buffet dinner.


Almost all dining activities in Hilton Bandung undertaken at purnawarman restaurant. You can have you buffet breakfast, a la carte lunch, and also buffet dinner here.

Purnawarman Restaurant Opening Hours:
Sunday-Thursday = 6:30 am – 10:00 pm

Friday-Saturday = 6:30 am – 11:00 pm

This time we tried their RAMADHAN BUFFET DINNER PACKAGED 135++. There were a lot of choices ranging from the Asian menu to the Western even to the Middle east!

We are sooooooo FULL!!! OMG its even hard to move around because we are too full haha.. oke thats a wrap for day one!


The next day we woke up late hhaha (i'm sorry guys!) its all because we slept peacefully and comfortably (thanks to that super cozy king size bed). 

As i said before, purnawarman resto is the main restaurant of Hilton Bandung thats why we had buffet breakfast here.

Breakfast rule number one : COFFEE!! yes, i'll feel like a zombie all day long if skip morning ritual coffee haha..

Yup we didnt eat too much on breakfast, as long as there is coffee i think both of us can skip breakfast hahahaa..
After having our light breakkie, we had a hotel tour together with another blogger from bandungfoodieS.

Back to purnawarman resto to have our last lunch before wehad to go home soon huhuhu... anyway we have their signature sundanese dish for lunch.


We had karedok for appetizer, it definitely a next level karedok, it was plating beautifully by hilton chef. Taste as good as the old fashioned one, bravo!

It smell so good! Love the vibrant color and pretty presentation of this dish. This nasi bakar consist of 'nasi tutug oncon', roasted minced beef (gepuk), fried tofu and veggies. The best part is their sambal!

Their Pindang iga is to die for! Seriously is was perfection, rich and warm broth served with rice, emping crackers, green chili sauce, pickles and grilled beef oxtail. Oxtail was very tender!

Last but not least, our lunch break is closed by surabi kinca. Anyway surabi is Indonesian pancake made with coconut milk as one of the ingredient. What i love from surabi kinca is the pandan flavoring and served with grated coconut palm sugar topping, coconut milk sauce. yumm..!

Overall, its a wonderful staycation we had at Hilton Bandung. There is no reason to skip this 5 stars hotel if your are planning to have a sweet escape in bandung. Almost all of their service is excellent, great hospitality, luxury, good food and of course great location.
We want to thank Hilton Bandung for the amazing staycation and also special thanks to Ms. Julie & Ms. Vina for the weekend gateway ;) gonna be back asap.
